The Four Major SabbatsSpring Equinox (March 21)
As a celebration of the apparent "life" coming after a season of winter, this sabbat is celebrated in the views of a similiar holiday called Easter (Eostre), where it is traditional to paint eggs. The traditional colors are yellow and green. The day should be celebrated with a ritual in honor of this sabbat. It is also suggested by some that this is a day best for gardening and planting "new life".
Summer Solstice (June 21)
On this sabbat, the wheel brings us to the mid-point of the wheel. Flowers and bright colored items, along with "warm" toned items add to the decoration. Along with a ritual, it is an excellent time to make protective charms. It is also a good time for casting love spells. If you are trying to concept a child, this day is a good day to do so. If not, it is suggested that the couple refrain from sexual activity, even if using percausions.
Autumn Equinox (September 22)
This sabbat is also known as Mabon. This is a celebration of the coming of winter and the life that follows. As usual, performing a traditional or your own ritual is suggested. For decoration, you may use colored leaves fallen from trees. Remember, pulling leaves off of trees is as equal to stabbing a human, so be kind to trees...they have feelings too!
Winter Solstice (December 22)
On this sabbat, decorations are usually used throughout the domain. Use pinecones, nuts, yule logs and other items that represent this sabbat. This sabbat is alos known as Yule. After the ritual, it is suggested to string cranberries and popcorn on strings and decorate a tree (such as trimming a Christmas Tree- although I prefer not to use that term "CHRISTmas Tree." This is a time of neutralness, but not total boredom. This is a good time to set out thoughts and goals for the coming new year.

The Four Minor SabbatsCandelmas (February 2)
This minor sabbat is a time of purification and harmony. If stress is keeping you down, this is the time to relieve yourself by finding the inner soul, or just enlightening it. After the ritual, you may have your children (or you) make imbolic candles with powdered incense and aromantic oils.
Beltane (May 1)
This has been refered to as the "sabbat of entegrity." Traditionally, a bonfire is set to burn the entire day, or just for the ritual. A traditional activity, which may be included in the ritual is writing your wishes on a piece of paper and then cast them into the fire. It is said that they will come true, but don't get too carried away. Celtic music is suggested while performing the ritual, although it may be used the entire day or at anytime during this sabbat. Other activities are making flower garlands, go on a picnic, go for a long walk, or spend time with the person you love. This is also a good time for pet blessings.
Lammas (August 1)
This sabbat is also a good time for cleansing and purification. Kyphi incense is best to use, but any type you prefer is alright. It is suggested to take an oatmeal bath in observance of this sabbat. The colors are orange, purple, red & green. After the ritual, you may make corn necklasses (or before the ritual) or prepare dishes of fruit.
Samhaim (October 31)
This sabbat is the best time to banish entities that have passed on but still "haunt" you. It is also a good time to communicate and connect with "spirits." Traditionally, the colors are orange & black. It is suggested that carving pumpkins and using the pumpkin inners for pumpkin pie and other pumpkin deserts is a good idea. It is also traditional to leave soul cakes on the graves of the ones you love who have passed on to the next life. It is also suggested that it is a good night to hold a seance.
